“being on Get Lit With Leza is is like gutting someone but glitter falls out and you make snow angels in it.”
In the age hyper-exposure & Twitter wars, Sam Pink is a rare gem of a man. He’s humble, he’s easygoing (at least on the phone), & if he is obsessed with himself he hides it well. He’s the kind of person you can actually have a real conversation with. He’s got an odd combo of childlike wonder (I talked about the lifestyle & behaviors of New Hampshire wild turkeys for like 5 minutes because it made him laugh about how ridiculous turkeys are) & jaded apathy about modern life. This convo was recorded in 2 parts. First part in the fall & second part a couple weeks ago, in December. Since this podcast is pretty meandering, the two conversations, months apart, kinda flow into each other pretty seamlessly.
