REVIEW – THE CINEMATOLOGIST: ‘The Conjuring 2’

The Cinematologist is back and this week he’s reviewing the smash horror hit The Conjuring 2, released earlier this year. The film was hailed by critics, but did The Cinematologist view it positively?

In 1977, paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren come out of a self-imposed sabbatical to travel to Enfield, a borough in north London. There, they meet Peggy Hodgson, an overwhelmed single mother of four who tells the couple that something evil is in her home. Ed and Lorraine believe her story when the youngest daughter starts to show signs of demonic possession. As the Warrens try to help the besieged girl, they become the next target of the malicious spirit.

Started in 2009, The Cinematologist features Jake Miller, a filmmaker trying to make it big. He loves film and everything about it, and likes to chime in his two cents when it comes to all the movie buzz going around town and the air waves.
