Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Marissa Tomei, and now Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of Marvel Studios and director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Buress is best known for his stand up comedy act, his co-hosting position on The Eric Andre Show, and roles in Broad City, The Nice Guys, Neighbors, and The Angry Birds Movie. On acting, Buress was quoted as saying, “I’d like to get more bit-acting roles. I don’t know if my talent would allow for a long dialogue, but I could definitely knock out three lines. I’d kill it.”
The Hollywood Reporter has also said that newcomers Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and J.J. Totah have landed roles as well.
Jayme Karales is the author of DISORDERLY, the director of WIZARD, and the producer of TRUANT. His work has been published by Thought Catalog, The Rebel, Underground Books, and many others.
