This is a film about the power of cinema, and I wanted to attempt to create some form of narrative within these great clips of cinema by actually, quite literally, showing the power it has.
The films featured all transcend simply being a platform of entertainment and all contain a form of truth that makes them timeless. I curated these scenes to show a somewhat fetishizing perspective of how I personally see cinema as the grand church of celluloid, but to quite simple archive and showcase some wonderful pieces of film that today, and till the end of time, will remain timeless. A love letter to film
…Also the longest scene featured in this film is Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather Part III. It is my belief that in this world there are two kinds of people.
The people who love The Godfather Part III, and the fucking liars.
